Intercessory Prayer Group

St. Patrick’s parishioners, and their families and friends, often have need for short-term or long-term prayer. Our Intercessory Prayer Group (also known as the prayer chain) is regrouping after having has lost many members who have dropped out or moved away. We are looking for 15 to 20 people of any age who can be responsible to pray for others when needed. Prayer needs are sent to the church by e-mail, phone, or prayer card. Five or six people at a time then receive an e-mail notification of a prayer need, and these intercessors pray for this request as they feel directed to – it can be just once, or daily for as long as you feel called to offer prayers.  This is a great way to serve if you like to be involved “behind the scenes,” as well as a pathway to grow in the Spirit. Please consider if this might be something you feel drawn to or if the Lord may be calling you to do. If you have questions, or would like to sign up, please email Leslie Bishop at [email protected].
