Giving

The Annual Giving Campaign: What do you plan to give now?

Our ministries here at St. Patrick’s have life and give life through the generosity of all our members in offering their time, talent and treasure. Throughout the Bible, we are reminded that God is the giver of all good things. God gives us life and “this fragile earth, our island home.”

The Annual Giving Campaign is a time set aside to reflect on how the practice of intentional giving is in keeping with all that God has given us. John 3:16 states, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only son.” God so loves each and every one of us that God gave and continues to give.

Through the Annual Giving Campaign, we invite you to prayerfully consider making an intentional pledge of a portion of your treasure, or a percentage of your income, to God’s work through St. Patrick’s this year. You may also make a one-time contribution, as you are able and are moved by the Spirit. But as St. Paul reminds us, each of us should give “what we have decided in [our] hearts to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” 2 Cor. 9:7.

The Endowment Fund: What do you plan to leave behind?

A gift to the Endowment Fund supports St. Patrick’s ministries in perpetuity. Using its dividend and interest income, the Endowment Fund assists in meeting necessary capital expenditures, seeding of new ministries, and increasing outreach gifts. By giving, you become a member of the Society of Sowers, which is the patron group of the Fund. Each Sower envisions a future at St. Patrick's where ministries continue to bear fruit and funds enable the next generation to carry on God's work. If sowing seeds for the future of St. Patrick's ministries strikes a chord with you, we ask that you prayerfully consider joining the Society of Sowers. There is no minimum seed investment. Give as you are led and appropriate to your circumstances. Some ways you can become a member are:

  • Let us know that you have included St. Patrick’s Endowment Fund in your estate plans
  • Contribute assets directly
  • Charitable Remainder Trusts
  • Charitable Gift Annuities
